October 1, 2025 – Tholus Capital, a leading investment firm focused on Defense and Civil Resilience technologies, is proud to welcome General (ret.) Chris Badia as Senior Military Advisor and Member of the Tholus Capital Advisory Board.

General Badia most recently served as Deputy Commander of NATO’s Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia, making him the highest-ranking German officer in the Alliance. His four-decade career in the Bundeswehr spanned from jet pilot on F-4 Phantoms to senior strategic leadership roles in Berlin, Brussels, Kabul, and Eindhoven, culminating in his promotion to four-star general in 2022.

Throughout his career, General Badia held key commands and staff positions, including leadership of Fighter Wing 71 “Richthofen,” Head of Planning at the German Ministry of Defence, and Commander of the European Air Transport Command. At NATO, he played a central role in shaping the transformation of the Alliance and developing strategies for future warfare. His expertise spans military strategy, defense planning, and civil-military cooperation, with deep insight into the capabilities and technologies that will be decisive in the conflicts of the future.
