Susanne Wiegand brings two decades of leadership experience in the defense sector, having held top executive roles at some of the leading European defense contractors, including as Managing Director of the German Naval Yards shipyards group, as Member of the Defence Executive Board of Rheinmetall, and as Chairwoman at RENK Group AG.  As CEO of RENK, she led the company through a period of exceptional growth — doubling revenue, quadrupling operating profit, and successfully taking the company public in February 2024.
