Tholus Capital appoints General Ben Hodges as Senior Military Advisor
4 September 2024 - Tholus Capital, a leading private investment firm focused on Defense and Civil Resilience is proud to announce the appointment of Lieutenant General Ben Hodges (ret.), former Commanding General of US Army Europe, as Senior Military Advisor. In this role, General Hodges will provide strategic guidance to Tholus Capital as it continues to invest in cutting-edge technologies that enhance national security and defense capabilities.
General Hodges brings with him a distinguished military career, having served in numerous leadership roles across the US Army, NATO and various joint commands. His expertise in logistics, strategic operations, and defense planning, along with his most recent work as NATO’s Senior Mentor for Logistics and Distinguished Fellow at GLOBSEC, positions him to offer unparalleled insights into the evolving defense landscape.
General Hodges commanded Infantry units in the 101st Airborne Division and led key operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, in addition to his strategic roles with NATO and the US Army. His leadership as Commanding General of US Army Europe (2014-2017) was instrumental in reinforcing NATO’s eastern flank and strengthening the alliance’s defense posture in response to emerging threats in Europe. He is also the co-author of “Future War and the Defence of Europe”, a critically acclaimed book published by Oxford University Press.
